Mind the Gap
A quick flight from Reykjavik landed us in the hustle and bustle of London. As soon as we found our way to our charming little B&B, we hopped on a good 'ol red double decker bus, and toured the city. We were in awe of the narrow streets filled with dodging cars, motorbikes, bicycles, and pedestrians. For the remainder of the week, we spent our time either visiting the tourist hotspots, standing in lines waiting to get in, or lost on the tube trying to find the places. Of course we didn't mind a bit, cause we were in London Meg's social study classes took place in 'The London Dungeons', which is a very cool tourist attraction that looks at 1000 years of London's darkest history, through a series of scary actor led shows and rides, and of course a tour of Buckingham Palace.
On our first day in London, Nadia who owns the B&B, took us for a bike ride along the Thames.
Megan on the London Eye
The giant ferris wheel was a great way to see the city. In the background, you can see Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.
Going to the musical Wicked! was definitely a highlight of the week for both of us.
